My neomails have suddenly started showing the sender's current avatar next to their name.

I think it's quite a cool feature, so long as it doesn't make avvie inflation worse.

If TNT had a "user-made" avatar in which a certain requirement was filled that allowed the sender to use any image for their avatar, I will tell you most certainly that any item that was required for this "avatar" would go through the roof.

Speaking of avatars, I found a toon made by "nef", the same person who brought us "Just Ice" last year about the current avatar craze...

That would require a lot effort on a monitor's part even if it was hard to get. With such a large community that Neopets is and with only a certain amount of the staff that are solely monitors, it's impossible.

I've been wanting this for a while now and have suggested it on and off (since I don't use the Neoboards and I do collect avs) ... I'm glad that they decided to impliment it. Really cute feature :)

I saw that one on newgrounds.com (I'm an avid member over there too) Nef even got front page over there with that cartoon. :) Well deserved, I wish I could master flash myself. Funny stuff.
