I want to know the purpose of the pictures in the shops. I mean the ones when you are actually haggling the price of a product. "Click on the ____ to continue" (I looked up its properties, and the URL of the actual picture is just captcha_show). You know what I mean, right? I have a very fast connection, and sometimes those pictures can't catch up to me, so I end up having to click on an Eyrie when it tells me to click on the Mynci because the picture of the Eyrie didn't load! Shopping becomes a chore when I have to deal with those.

Does anyone else here have the same problem, or am I possibly just going insane?

The point of the "Where's Waldo" purchase confirmation is to stop autobuyers... but it really causes grief for everyone. I'm not fond of it either.

Yeah, it's generally the last thing that loads, so I'm usually *waiting* to click on the picture. Of course, it's not like I'm good at RSing anyway.

I'd much rather have autobuyers than have to suffer through Where's Waldo! However there is a flaw in that system. If you bid the right amount of NP on an item, regardless of what pet you click on (e.g. an Ixi is there when it asks you to click on Blumaroo), the transaction will be completed anyway. So sometimes I end up bidding the right amount and don't have to suffer. That's kinda good...right?

So, if you bid a particular amount on an item, it doesn't matter where you click in the image? That's a bummer.

Ooops I didn't phrase that well. Here is an example:
I am in the health food store, preparing to haggle on an item whose price is listed as 120 NP. The Where's Waldo picture has a Yurble in it with the direction to click on Kacheek. I type in 111 NP, click on Yurble expecting the command to click on the right pet, and instead I get "I accept your offer of 111 NP!" and the item added to my inventory. That's what I meant.

10in2010 - What browser are you using? The problem you are describing happens to me all the time when using Moxilla Firefox. 50% of the time it loads the wrong picture. Sometimes when I click on the wrong image I still get the item (that's good) sometimes it loads another picture and I have to click again (that's bad). I think it has something to do with the image cache on your computer but I am not sure how to fix it.

However, when I use MS Explorer or Opera it never loads the wrong picture.

I use Firefox but there is NO WAY I'm going back to Internet Explorer, so filled with ads and without the ability to open new pages in tabs...I suppose loading the wrong picture will be a bit of a tedious thing but I will get used to it. Perhaps someone should tell TNT about this? However, what will they do?!

I like the 'where's waldo' approach better than the 'load a number' approach.
