No it means, no covering them up with CSS, for example a table, like people have, and then they retype them over top of the old ones, using their own,

for an example see self_servitude's lookup.

I think it depends on what you mean by custom interests.

Xalaxracer is 100% correct - you can't cover any of your user stats. I've seen it on lookups, and eventually so does a monitor or whoever and the person ends up with a cleared lookup, and at least a warning.

If you mean your hobbies? Customizing those? I know there are people here who know where to go to do that (I don't), but to be honest, I don't know if that's 'officially' allowed, as it is changing/retyping info yourself.

I made my custom hobbies using the web browser Opera. I don't quite remember how I did it, as it was a while ago. All I know is, I'm never editting my hobbies again in fear of not being able to.

What is interesting is that I have PPT in my hobbies, and it isn't blocked.

And as far as I know, no, it's not illegal. The only thing TNT doesn't allow is using tables to cover up your real stats, like having a custom shield or re-styling your entire page, as was mentioned earlier.

Woohoo! Thanks to that link, I now have custom hobbies on both my accounts! Yay!
And if TNT freezes me for it for whatever reason, I'll kill you all! ^_^

I've had my custom hobbies up probably since I first started back in 2001. I don't see how it hurts anyone for them to see I like chocolate. I don't see how it is wrong for that to be there.
