Location: Listening to Black Sabbath
It seems as though music has been dyeing out in the past twenty years. Music has turned to sounding bloody great to sounding like twelve year old girls on helium. Name a band that has started in the past ten years that actually sounds good (in my opinion), and I will give you 5K NP. What happened to bands that made great music such as Black Sabbath or The Jimi Hendrix Experience? Those bands rocked, and no band today can top the music of yesterday.

The Offspring started around 94', I believe, and they're pretty good.

It depends what kind of music you are into.
Chart music is a load of crap now all the bands sound the same and they all do bad cover versions.

But I don't pay any attention to the charts.
There is lots of bands I like that came out in the last ten years ish

Rancid, Propaghandi, Screeching Weasel... You can't say that no bands make music as good as bands use to. There are bands today that are good, but not mainstream ones. Now, don't think I don't like bands from the '70s and '80s, because that would be a very false assumption, but there are actually bands today that I like more.
