The top of the game has an Indicator Bar. Level is on the far left. The middle indicates how many Matches you have achieved out of the total Matches with the current opponent. To progress to the next Level (the next opponent) you must win the majority of the Matches with your current opponent. Beat Level Eight to progress to the next Tournament. Tournament, to the right, indicates how many times (if you finish Tournament One) you have beaten all opponents!

When you first start playing, your indicator bar would look like this:

Level 1 Match 1 of 3 Tournament 1
Wins: 0 Losses: 0

Payout reflects play AFTER Tournament One
opponent - # of wins needed - Payoff
Clop win 2/3 200NP
Barallus 2/3 300NP
Squire Meekel 2/3 400NP
The Yellow Knight 3/4 600NP
Number Five 3/4 1000NP
Galgarrath 4/7 1500NP
Haskol 5/9 2000NP
Master Vex 6/11 3000NP

Trophies:
Tournament One
Level 4;Yellow Knight - Bronze Metal
Level 8; Master Vex - Bronze Trophy

Tournament Eleven
Level 4;Yellow Knight - Silver Trophy
Level 8; Master Vex - Gold Trophy

To get to the upper Tournament levels without wasting NP by going over the 5000 a day limit, I usually play:

Vex 3000
Clop 200
Barallus 300
Meekel 400
Yellow Knight 600

for a total of 4500 on day A and

Number Five 1000
Galgarrath 1500
Haskol 2000

for a total of 4500 on day B

Strategy:
The goal is to have three in a row without a block at either end, your next move will give you four in a row and no way in which both ends of your line of can be blocked. The result is FIVE IN A ROW.

The Diamond:

Past Level 11, where there is no starter markers and a lot of rocks on the board. The best advice I can give is that the computer can be confused by the rocks.

Did you know that Limited Edition pets didn't come out until early 2000? The very first pet that was limited edition was the Peophin, which is ironic as it isn't limited edition anymore! - The Wonder Weezel
