Korbat's Lab Guide
Written by da_rain_angel

Ok, Korbat's Lab is really quite simple. The object of the game is to destroy all of Dr. Sloth's ingredients to make Transmogrification Potions, that are in the boxes. With your bat, you try to smash all of Dr. Sloth's boxes without your ball dropping.

You move the bat (as they call it, it's the wooden-looking thing at the bottom) with the arrow keys left or right, trying to keep the ball in the air, and hit the boxes (The wooden things.) Each box is worth ten points for each hit, and at the end of the game they divide your score by 3 and give you that many neopoints.

You might have noticed the spiders or bats moving around, don't worry, they don't do anything except if they hit your ball they might send it off in a weird direction.
The trick to this game is to always be under your ball with the bat, because if your not then your ball well hit the ground and you will have to start with a new ball-and you only have four balls for the entire game. Also, in the higher levels of this game, there are metal blocks which your ball can't go through, so you must find a way around these blocks to get to the wooden boxes-which you may have to hit more than once for the box to disappear (how ever many numbers there are on the box is the number of times you must hit it.) Also, there are sometimes blocks that have a fire symbol or a rock symbol. The fire one is that if you hit it, it destroys all the blocks directly under it. The Rock one *shakes* when you hit it and destroys the blocks around it.

Now, there are some Potions or other things that may fall out of the boxes during the game (there are normally 3 or 4 of these per level.) Some of these potions are bad, and some are good. Here are the ones I discovered:

Skull: Game Over
Red Potion: The Ball goes straight threw the boxes AND the metal blocks(it doesn't bounce off until it hit the ceiling or the wall)
Blacky-Red Potion: You keep your score, but you start the level over again.
Money Bag: Some Points (50 normally)
Purple Potion: Bigger Bat (length-wise)
Blue Potion: Slow Bat
Reddish-Yellow Potion: Sets of the rock block (destroying all boxes around it)
Flashing Blue/Green Potion: Gets rid of the Spiders and Korbats
Greeny-Black: A rocket that destroys one block (nothing happens if it hits the metal)

Now there are probably more potions that I haven't discovered so don't think I have listed them all ;)

Did you know that feeding your Neopet a Poisonous Lollypop, a Posionous Jelly or a Rotten Omelette will make your pet ill? The Lollypop will give your pet Floppy Tongue, the Jelly will give them Neomonia, and the Omelette will give them Ugga-Ugga. - Mary Taylor
