There are a few strategies which increase your chance of luck in this game, or at least get you more points:

1. Always go for the longest runs first (getting rid of the most cards)- ex- the card dealt allows a play of a run increasing the card value OR one decreasing the card value, play the run that gets rid of/reveals the most cards

2. sometimes if you have the right cards available to play (or uncover them as you are playing a run) you can play a run and then reverse it, getting 100+ points on one card- ex. dealt: 2 play: 3-4-3-2-A-K-Q rather than A-K-Q or 3-4

3. if you can only play one card or another on the dealt card and either will reveal the same amount of cards, if one of the cards has another of the same value available, play the double. (it is a long explanation, but if you want to know, ask me, my neopets nickname is b_catt)

4. Watch for how many cards of each value have already been played, those cards are out of the game, so trying to pay attention to this can help your luck- ex. all kings have been played and the card dealt is J you can play either Q or 10, play the Q!, the ten can be played on other J's not yet played OR on any 10's not yet played (up to 9 chances to play the 10), the Q can only be played on the remaining J's (only a max of 3 chances to play the Q).

5. One word: Probability
If you read a bit about probability you can get a really good increased chance of winning or getting more points in almost ANY card game. To take a FUN look at the rules of probability look for :

I have noticed two pets that may be named after Lewis Carroll's poem, 'The Jabberwocky'. 'Beware the Jabberwock, my son! / The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! / Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun / The frumious Bandersnatch!' And the other one? Look at the title. - Terahnee
