Splat-A-Sloth Tips

Freeze the game
Submitted by OM omm@elfbite.com
When you click on the title bar at the top of the window on Internet Explorer 6.0, it freezes everything inside because it thinks the window is being dragged. So all you have to do is keep clicking on the title bar every second until you see the Sloth pop out (it will be frozen while you hold down the mouse). Then hit space as you remove your finger off the mouse!

Remember that you must hold your finger down for a split second in order for IE to think it's being dragged! You can see that its working when the blinking icon in the top right corner (which says Splat-a-Sloth) stops blinking! Just go at your own pace, and eventually the sloth will come out... TO HIS DOOM!

A game of luck

I figured out that if you want your chances of to improve of recieving a high-score in Splat-a-Sloth, then it would be a good idea to follow these steps. First of all, you probably want to have Splat-a-Sloth set on the High Quality NOT the Low Quality (unless you have a slower modem) due to the fact that this make it harder to win. Secondly, to actually get a good score on Splat-a-Sloth, you have to press the space bar before you the puppet sloth even appears. Mostly, Splat-a-Sloth just takes luck. But if you follow these steps, your chances of winning will increase a teeny-tiny bit!

Pick a number, any number

What I like to do for splat a sloth is set a predetermined time which I count out right after you hear the clicking noise that means the newspaper is in place. Usually it is something like two to five seconds. When I reach that number I press the spacebar, whether or not there's a sloth in sight. It has worked surprisingly well for me. If you are patient enough to sit there are reload the game every time you fail, you will eventually get the sloth that comes on the second you have counted.

Partial press

On splat a sloth, if when the game is loading you push your space bar down half way or a little less and make sure not to move it at all when the game is started, you have better chances of hitting sloth cause you don't have to press down so hard or as much, and since its already down a little it doesn't take so long to hit sloth. But you have to be careful because if you press it down to much then right when the game starts if will make you hit at sloth. I hope the tip works for you like it does for me!

Did you know that the original Neopia map was configured to have light in the Northern half, and Darkness in the Southern Half. The Northern half had places called The Plane of Ultimate Good and Cloud World and Dragon Mountain. The Southern half had places called The Pit of Despair and The Screaming Desert and the Plane of Ultimate Evil. Neopia Central was between the two sides. -The Wonder Weezel
