Neopoints for Beginners

This is a guide for beginners. It's on a fairly similar level to my other guide
for beginners on running a shop. So, straight to it, making np! There are many
ways to do it, and everyone will have their favorites.
1. The first step is to open a bank account at the Neopian bank. In here you can
save your money and earn interest on it. The more money you have in your
account, the higher your account level will be and the higher the rate of
interest.
2. Visit the Tyrannian Plateau and pick up a free omelette (once per day). You
can use omelettes to feed your pet or sell them in your shop.
3. Visit the Snowager every day. If he is asleep when you visit him, you have a
slim chance of grabbing a good item!
4. Go to luck games. You can play the Tombola and the fruit machine once a day
for free. Always worth it.
5. Playing games is the fastest way of getting neopoints. Play whatever you
enjoy the most. Favorites among Neopians are Meerca Chase II, Ultimate Bullseye
and Sakhmet Solitaire. Moat games are free but can only be played for neopoints
3 times a day. Games that cost can often give you easy trophies.
6. The stock market can earn you huge profits, but playing it requires skill and
patience. I'm no expert here, as my portfolio is only a small one. My advice for
the stock market is to only buy shares that are priced at 15 or 16np. Never buy
ones priced highly, they are much more likely to go down in value. Also, you
have to be patient. It's often quite usual for a share to stay fairly static for
months on end.
7. You could try picking up donations at the money tree, but you'll only be able
to grab something if you have a lightning fast computer.
8. Open a shop. This is discussed in my other guide.
9. Go on the referral program. It allows you to refer your friends to Neopets.
If they register, you get prizes. This is an easy way to make some decent money,
especially if you have lots of friends!
10. Have fun. That's the highest priority.
