Restocking Tips

Restocking is a quick and inexpensive way to make hundreds of thousands of NP.
Many Neopians have already caught on to this great money making way. But keep in
mind that restocking isn’t just a walk in the park. It requires speed, accuracy
and intelligence, if you have all those you’re about half way there. Reading
this guide will take you the rest of the way.
Before we begin there are three things you have to know.
1. It takes money to make money
2. Practice makes perfect
3. Other people are trying to make money too
Just like rule number 1 says, it takes money to make money. Before you go out
restocking I suggest you have between 25k – 50k NP. As for number 2, don’t get
frustrated and angry 5 minutes into your restocking career. Give it time and you
will soon be making thousands. Last but not least, rule number 3. You’re not the
only one on Neopets. Waiting five minutes before clicking on a dark battle duck
to buy it won’t cut it. Don’t haggle for rare items, you should have a general
sense of the rarity of various items in Neopets.
So you have your restocking money and a few pointers from yours truly, now it’s
time to restock. There are many places in Neopia where you can restock. One of
my favorites is Battle Supplies which is located in the Lost Desert. In any shop
keep pressing the F5 which refreshes every 1-2 seconds until it restocks. When
in the Battle Supplies shop have “2999” in the copy-paste. To do this type
“2999” anywhere, highlight it, right click and press copy, now when you want to
paste it right click and press paste, this will instantly type whatever was
copied. Having “2999” copied will help you get Hand Painted Scarabs and Lost
Desert Daggers. It also helps to have a mouse with the wheel in the middle for
easy scrolling. In the Ice Weapons shop, which is located in terror mountain,
put “47777” in your copy-paste to get freezing potions more easily. In the
Battle Shop in Neopia Central, put “13333” in your copy-paste to get battle
ducks more easily. Try experimenting with many different shops to find out what
should be in your copy-paste when visiting that shop.
One more thing, if you have a slow internet connection and want to speed it up
try doing the following. Go to tools at the top of your internet browser. Click
on the advanced tab. Scroll down to multimedia and uncheck the following:
1. Play animation
2. Play sounds
3. Play Videos
4. Show Pictures
and press Apply.
This should disable graphics from your browser which in turn makes your internet
connection much faster to grab those rare items. Just make sure to recheck them
all when you’re done restocking.
