Turmaculus Explained
What
is the Turmaculus? "Legends speak of a petpet a who had a gigantic appetite. As he ate, he grew, and as he grew, he ate... until one day this colossal petpet could not move any more.
The Turmaculus can be found in the land of Meridell, sleeping nearly 24 hours a day. If you can wake him up, chances are he may be able to help you with an item, or a healing spell... just don't catch him in a bad mood (we weren't kidding about his appetite!)"
In all regards, the Turmaculus is the meridell equivalent of Snow Valley's
Snowager. The difference? The snowager wakes up at certain times whilst the
times in which the Turmaculus wakes up is randomized on a daily basis. However,
the prizes and rewards the Turmaculus gives out to the user are considerably
higher valued than what can be obtained through the Snowager.
The main difference is that it is your NeoPet's petpet, not your neopet who has
the opportunity to wake up the Turmaculus through either singing, banging pots
and pans to other alternatives (possibly the first petpet orientated activity).
That means the Turmaculus will only talk to your pet's petpet only and no one
else! It seems the most coveted prize the Turmaculus gives, inclusive of rare
books and items of such, is the petpet level gain, which for a battledomer, will
be extremely useful! If the petpet is used while battling, the damage icons are
multiplied by your petpets level. So if your petpet was level 3, and you did 30
icons of damage, the end result would be a whopping 90 icons of damage! That
should level out the expensive battledome items a bit and provide a new spice to
battling :)
The only warning is once you have a petpet with a level above 1, don't remove it
from your neopet or else it will lose all it's levels gained whilst being with
your NeoPet.
There have been rumors of the Turmaculus eating petpets, and wow are they true!
He'll eat them rain, hail or sunshine! Therefore it is strongly recommended not
to take expensive petpets or petpets you prize to the Turmaculus.
Hopefully, you are
now aware of what the Turmaculus is all about, and if you have any more questions,

Mong mong: Hey Turm, bite me!
