Usuki Frenzy Guide
Submitted by Thursdays_Gurl
Usuki Frenzy is definitely one of the most addictive games in the Action Game
Room. However, it does include a fair bit of luck. With some tips and patience, anyone can master this game.
Before you start the game: You need to know a few things. The object of the game is to collect the 10 Usuki Sets on the bottom of the screen. If you
accidentally pick up one that's not needed, you can't pick up any more until you put it on a shelf, which makes you loose points and waste time. The 10 Sets are always the same, so if you practice a lot, you will get to know which ones they are. Sally the Usuki always moves faster on a diagonal, so whenever possible, avoid going straight.
Scoring: You need to collect all 10 Sets to be able to send your score. For each correct set you pick up, you get 10 points, but for each wrong one you have to put back, you loose three. You also get a time bonus for how quickly you finish (which is why going diagonally is so important!) You have two minutes (120 seconds) total, and for each second left over, you get a point.
The Rooms: There are 5 rooms in Sally's home. The bedroom, bathroom, dining room, kitchen, and family room. You should go through in this order to save time, because you won't have to double back.
The Bedroom: The bedroom is where you start. It has two doors, one on the top and one on the right hand side. The right hand door leads to the bathroom, and the upper door leads to the kitchen. Therefore, to follow the good path you should go through the right hand door. To save time in the bedroom, make sure to look around while the game is loading. Because this is where you start, this gives you a little extra time to plan your route in the room. Also, you can kind of walk through the posts on the bed, and this is really useful to
avoid going around other items and can save you a lot of time. Experiment with this and use it to your advantage. If there are items near the upper door, to save time, sometimes it's beneficial to leave the items until you are in the kitchen, and quickly duck down and get them. This is really only a good tip to use if there are 2-3 sets up there. After you have finished in the bedroom (make sure you are moving diagonally) move through the right hand door.
The Bathroom: The bathroom is one of the nicest rooms because there are not a lot of obstacles in the way. When you first get in the room, it's usually a good idea to aim down (diagonally that is) because there is almost always an item there. It's upper door leads into the dining room, so quickly get the required items (remember to move diagonally!) and get up there fast. When you go through the door to the dining room, aim to the right.
The Dining Room: Traditionally, there are a lot of items in the dining room you need to watch out for. The table and chairs are in the middle of the room , and the door leading to the kitchen is on the left hand side. The best way to tackle the room is to go in a counter-clockwise direction. Remember that you can press yourself against the chairs to aviod items you don't need which are in your way.
The Kitchen: The kitchen is another nice room because it too lacks a lot of obstacles in the way. Remember after collecting your items from the kitchen that if you have left objects near the upper door in the bedroom, you need to duck back down the lower door to grab them. The kitchen leads into the living room (the last room, some people refer to it as the hidden room). It can be tricky at first, because there is no doorway, but the only way to get into the living room is through a specific part. If you pretend there is a doorway inthe middle of the wall (even though there isn't) and aim to go through there, you should be okay, although the space is considerably larger than a doorway (you have a lot of room). Be careful though, because there may be an item right near the entrance and it's a long walk back to a bookcase. Aiming a little up is not a bad idea.
The Living Room: The living room is the last room, and the hardest, because there are a lot of things in the way. In the middle of the room there is a coffee table, and right under it a couch, and table on the far side under a window. If there are a lot of sets in the room, I suggest going counter-clockwise again, but make sure you look. Because it is your last room, you need to notice where the sets you are as soon as you enter to save your last seconds of time.
The End: And that's it! I think Usuki Frenzy is one of the most under-rated games on Neopets. You don't get a lot of Neopoints, but it's challenging and involves action and chance. Good luck!!
