Volcano Run

A game dreaded by some good at for it's infamous and famous nickname, the
freezer. Many greats are destroyed, but many newbies fear it for a different
reason... difficulty. You play the role of a Tyrannian Scorchio known by the
name of Glubgar. He has been trapped in a volcano so hot, not even his kind can
stand the floor. Or ceiling, as players soon discover. This game has a fault
from the beginning. Everyone new at it presses the left ARROW KEY, when in fact
it is the left MOUSE BUTTON you should be using. Upon learning movement, you
must discover the goal, to dodge fireballs, flying stones, the floor and the
roof! But two useful tools are the Break and the Shield. The break is a function
controlled by the spacebar. It is used for ducking back, therefore giving you
the chance to dodge the rocky or fiery end that may have resulted. DO NOT HOLD
DOWN THE SPACEBAR as you will not be able to use it in times of need. The
shield, everyone's favorite tool, is next on our list. It allows you to sustain
one hit on any of the four surfaces (e.g. floor, rock...), and only disappears
when Glubgar HIMSELF is hit. You will not be able to get any more shields after
2000 points. Do not risk your life to get one unless you don't have a shield in
the 1900's, as that will be your last chance. Crystals, the point-grabbers.
Collect these to get the score without the time. DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE FOR
THESE. THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT. You may want to not get crystals in the1700-1999's
if you don't have a shield, as you may gain an extra chance or two. Score: Your
current score is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen, and your
high score in the time of the window being open. You get 33np for every
100points scored. Happy dodging! Not so hard now, eh? :)
