Whack-A-Ghost! Guide
Written by King905

Whack-A-Ghost is a fun game, where you can earn 3,000 neopoints a day! All you got to do is learn how to play! First enter the game and click play. The number pad on the right side of your keyboard is what you should use. Station your pointer, middle, and index on the 4, 5, and 6, respectively. When the games start a ghost petpet will pop up. The screen corresponds with the number pad. If the ghost pops up in the top left of the screen, press the number 7. If a ghost pops up in the middle press number 5.

To make things less stressful on you. Let your pointer finger hit 7,4, and 1. Let your middle finger hit 8, 5, and 2. And let your index hit 9, 6, and 3. Now the games is much is easier. The first few rounds are easy. Hit the ghost until he disappears, collect hearts to regain your health (you lose health every time you press the wrong number) and coins to give you some extra points.

When the keyboard switches for the first time turn your keyboard counter-clockwise. And this time place your 3 fingers on the 8, 5, and 2. Your pointer will now hit the 9, 8, and 7. Your middle will hit the 6, 5, and 4. And your index will hit the 3, 2, and 1. After the next few rounds, treasure chests will appear. Hit the treasure chests to reveal what lies inside. It will be either a heart or some coins. The easiest way to deal with treasure chest is to hit them twice. Skulls will also appear. Under any no circumstance should you hit the skulls. True sometimes they contain treasure, but it just isn't worth losing a heart for.

When the keys change again, continue to rotate your keyboard counter-clockwise. So that your pointer hits 3, 6, and 9. You middle hits 2, 5, and 8. And your index hits 1, 4, and 7. But these keys do not correspond with the screen. If you see a ghost in the middle, top-middle, or bottom-middle, press that either 2, 5, or 8 (the same as before). However, the left and right sides have been switched. If you see a ghost in the top left, DO NOT PRESS 3!! You must press 1. And vice versa. If you see a ghost in the right-middle, DO NOT PRESS 4!!! Press 6.

After the keyboard changes again, the keys correspond with the screen again. Keep turning the keyboard, counter-clockwise whenever the keys change. In the last round there are skeletons that pop up with numbers on them. You must press the number on them to hit them. This can get very confusing, but after you play the game you will start to learn where the numbers are without looking down at the keyboard. Throughout the entire game, i recommend not looking at the keyboard.

At some point in the game you will become overwhelmed with ghosts that you have to hit 4 times. If you don't hit a ghost in time and it flies off you will lose a life. If you become overwhelmed calm down and start hitting the newest ghost that pop up. You will get hurt by the ones flying off, but at least this way you can get back on track. The game will prompt you which ghosts must be hit how many times, and what things you shouldn't hit.

At the end it will say you have been the game and your score could be anywhere from 400-1600. The high scores for this game are around 1500. To get this high you must be very fast and hit as many ghosts as possible and collect all coins and treasure chests you see. I have mastered this game, but it is just pure luck if you manage to get that high. If you are playing this game just for neopoints then do not go all the way to the end. Instead play until you get 500 points. This will get you 1,000np the maximum you can get per play. Play this game three times and there is your easy and fun 3,000np. Enjoy your shopping!
