What The Game is: This game is a remake of the classic internet game 'Pingu
Throw'. Instead of playing as a Yeti, you are a Blumaroo from Meridell. Instead of whacking a penguin, you whack a little Kass
plushie. The Kass plushie is in a tree above you, and you click once to let it drop,
and click again to swing your bat. However well you time the swing judges how far you hit the
Kass plushie. You're aim is to hit it as far as you can.
Warning: This game is extremely addictive! Take Extra Precautions while playing this game, or you may be stuck playing it FOREVER!
This game doesn’t require much teaching to play. Whether you get a good score or not is entirely up to you. If you hit Kass WAY too early, you may
miss hitting it all together, and get a score of zero. You will get maximum distance if you hit it a little bit early. Kass falls off the tree head
first, so try to hit him right in the beak! Hitting the plushie right on will get you distance, but not anything that
great. If you hit it too late, it may drive right into the ground, and you will probably get a score
anywhere from 0 to 60, which is not a good score for this game. A good score is anywhere from 150-250. A pro’s score for this game would be
from around 250-360, and if you get anything higher then that, then either you are REALLY good, or you got a lucky shot.
You start the game off with a weak little bread stick. It can't get you very many points, but once you hit a score of 175 or higher, you get the stick.
The stick gives you a good hit that can usually give you points from 200-350. Getting the bat is a hard task. You have to get a whopping score to
get to use the bat, which is extremely powerful. You can easily get scores anywhere from 600 to 850 while using the bat. When you use the stick,
Kass falls pretty slow. Using the Stick, it falls at a good speed, and when using
the bat, its as if a rocket is shooting him to the ground. So, aside from hitting bird boy in the beak, and using the bat as your
weapon of choice, there is one last technique. That would be the wind. In the bottom right corner of the screen, it tells you the wind speed. Also,
you can tell by looking at the flag on the tree when you first start the game. If the flag is blowing to the right of the pole, that means the breeze
is blowing against you, or blowing in the negatives. You want to hit it when the flag is on the left side, and the higher it is, the better. If you look
at the bottom left corner where the wind reading is, that’s probably your best way of reading the wind. If it is in the negatives, don’t even bother
hitting the plushie. It wont go very far. 0-4 is ok, but you really want to get a wind speed from 5-9. Personally, I don’t even hit Kass unless the wind
speed is 8 or 9. Wind Speed helps your plushie go farther, and you may end up having a third of your distance be the bounce. The
distance you get from bouncing is highly influenced by the wind. The wind is your friend in this
game, and mixed with the bat, you get awesome points.
Finally, there is a 'technique' that’s used for the game, however, its nothing official. Its just something a lot of people, including me, use
because it appears to help when you are launching Kass. Notice that when Kass is flying, his wings
stay in if you hold down the mouse button, and the wings flutter when you let
go. Apparently, when Kass’s wings are held in, he acts more like a rocket. So, the best technique for this game is
probably to wait for the wind strength to be 8 or 9. Then, let bird boy fall off the tree, and hit him as close to the beak as possible. When you
click to hit him, hold down the mouse button, so he flies up like a rocket. Once he gets at the peak of his altitude, release the mouse button, so that
he flutters down to the ground. That will get you lots of distance. When Kass finally lands and bounces, he should bounced 3 or 4 times. You want to
try to click and hold each time he touches the ground. You don’t want to hold the click for even a half of a second, but hold it long enough so it
isn’t just a 'click.' Its pretty much that any time he’s flying upward, or touching the ground, hold down the mouse button, and that should have a
great influence on your distance, along with the wind power. Keep practicing, and you will soon be able to have 800 point scores every time!
