Cellblock Guide

Score based on factors of how often it works as it is set up, how easy to preform the actions needed, how many moves it takes.

Method 1

Velvet Moon has found a really successful method. Great Job Velvet Moon.

Score: 4.5 out of 5.

Method 2

Score: 4 out of 5.

Method 3

Goodjolly has another method that is quite successful but it is also the longest version. Good Job Goodjolly.

Score: 3 out of 5.

Method 4

Credendo Vides, Kiquin has the final method. It works most of the time but it does require a lot of extra adjustment since you don't have 3 in a row till right before the win. I still think this is one of the better methods due to the way it works it can be adusted for a win at almost any time. Great Job Credendo Vides.

Score: 2 out of 5.

Tournements 11+ require more involved play.

To ensure best chances of winning please do not use just one of these methods but instead use all of them. If you do them all that keeps the opponet from being able to guess your next move based on previous moves. This does not mean you will win 100% of your games but it does make it easier to win them.

To get the associated avatar for Cellblock, you will hav to win. You just get it when you win but what type of winning is as of now unknown. The Neopets Team stated that it is based on certain things and is not random but those things have not been figured out yet.

Hope this helps you on your way to becoming a Cellblock Champion.

Just to show you, this is what a draw ends up looking like. It counts as a loss.

Now, for my own method.

Method 5

This I came up with it uses parts of other methods listed above.

This part will always be as you see. Your opponet may place in different places but just throw yours like this. Now for placement four, it changes.

Placement four should be to block any sets of three or more; same for five. If there is no sets of three or more then skip to six. The sets will be these two. They were blocked with marker four and five.

Placement six should be above three (see place four in the above image, opponet did not run a set this time).

Place seven depends on the opponet. If they do not go above your last move, then work up and down for this final win.

If they block that with a placement above the last move, then go with the placement of five.

Now, again it depends on what the opponet does as to where you go.

If the opponet blocks you by placing beside placement five or two then you need to go below and to the left of five for this win.

If the opponet did not go beside five or two then place your marker beside five and work toward this win.

This should allow you to win all games. There is one more version I have seen while playing Vex himself, but I have not been able to get him to recreate it again to show you how it works.

Thats all for now!
