Neofriends are all around you. Filling up your mailbox talking to you about stuff you don't even know, about people you don't even know.
In the beginning of Neopets there was the Chats. That was about the only way to meet a new Neofriend. But the ones you did you saw every day as you restocked the shops. You had close personal relationships with them and shared moments in your Neopets life with them.
Years later a lot has changed. There are a thousand and a half ways to meet a new Neofriend. What with the guilds and the boards. Not to mention all of the webpages that have sprung up all over the world wide web. I don't know how many people I have talked to about Neopets.
I don't know how many people I have talked to about Neopets.....once...and never spoke to again.
When I first started I had three or so friends. Friends I spoke to everyday about everything under the Neopian sun. Now I speak to the people in my guild if I'm lucky once a day. But there are so many of them it's hard to keep them together.
Is it easier or harder to make a good friend on Neopets? You tell me."
