Deadly Dice Secrets

Deadly Dice: Exposed!
Submitted by Clotho

Did you know Deadly Dice is timed? Most people don't!

A quick background for those that have never seen deadly dice.

It's available through Roo Island mini world.

It is only open from Midnight until 12:59 NST i.e. it closes at 1am.

It's a simple game; you get one go a day, against Count Roo, each rolling one dice.

If you lose your pet loses a level (Down to level 1. If you have a pet at level 1 they cannot play!).

If you win your pet gains a level

If you tie, you have the option of rolling for "double or nothing". If you win, you gain double the levels, if you lose your pet LOSES all the levels.

If you tie, and gain levels, you also get the Dice avatar. However, if you lose multiple levels, you lose the avatar.

Now, onto the secrets; how not to lose.

Deadly dice is defiantly timed.

Having found the secret, I've not lost a level in well over three weeks of testing it.

To gain a level: Click roll *JUST* before the Neopets clock ticks over to an even number. This may require a bit of timing on your part to find out exactly the right point to click, but once you've got it, you've got it.

To lose a level: Click any other time, with the exception of the tie.

To tie: (Credit goes to smittyaggi3316 for figuring this out, and netting 16 levels in the process!!!)

You need to click on the second just before the minute. i.e. 12:05:59, 12:06:59, 12:07:59, etc to tie. When you tie, you have the option of going again. HOWEVER you can just stop if you feel it's a bit too high a gain..

I hope this helps to benefit you as much as it has helped my pet, in gaining 21 levels. (Now if only the lab wouldn't constantly take them away!!!)

In Deadly Dice, there is a limit to the amount of levels you can get from a single game. This is because you CANNOT enter A "Double or Nothing" if you do not have enough levels to take when you lose.

For example, if you have a level 7 pet, the most levels you could gain from Deadly Dice for that time is 4. This is because you do not have the extra 8 levels to wager. If you attempt to tie the dice in such an instance, you will instead lose, unless, of course, you hit "roll" close enough to the XX:00 tick to win anyway.
