Gourmet Club Bowls Guide

I'm sure you came here because you wanted to know how to Master the game Gourmet
Club Bowls right? Well, you can find all the tricks, tips, and all that jazz
here! Just read my little guide and soon you'll be a wiz at this game, just like
me!
Basic Rules
Now, no use trying to play this game and not know the basic rules right? Anyway,
the rules are simple:
In this game, you play against a variety of opponents. You each get to roll one
of your bowls (yours are red, your opponent's are blue) down the green to try
and get it closest to the jack (the white ball). You may knock your opponent's
bowls out of play, and he may do the same to you, but if the jack goes out of
play your opponent gets 2 points.
At the end of each round, points are awarded depending on the number of bowls in
play that you have nearest to the jack. If there are two blue balls closest,
that means you score two points. The first to 7 wins the match, and moves on to
play a harder opponent! Lastly, watch out, in later levels there may be hazards
on the green that will hinder your play.
To fire your bowls click the ball and drag the red line however far back you
want. The farther back you pull the red line, the harder you will throw the
ball.
Seem easy right? To tell you the truth, it really is. But of course I say that
because I totally rock at this game! xP
Opponents
You have a great number of opponents in this game. Here is a list is them:

Sir Hefferton: He is the easiest out of all the opponents. You should
have no problem beating him. He really does nothing special except for try to
beat you.
Lord BriarTree: He is just like Sir Hefferton, only he tends to shoot
your bowls out of the way. It gets rather annoying after awhile, so just try to
get in front of the jack so if he does try to knock your bowl out of the way,
he'll hit the jack out as well and you'll gain 2 points.
Dr. Grumps: He is very good at avoiding the obstacles. Sometimes is seems
as if he is cheating. But we all know TNT doesn't let their games cheat.
Mr. Bluster: Mr. Bluster (a.k.a, the tubby purple Wocky man), isn't that
hard compared to the other opponents, but he does tend to angle his bowls. In
other words, he will shoot his bowls against the wall to bounce them around the
obstacles to reach the jack. And he happens to be very good at it.
Mr. Black: Now... he is even worse then Lord BriarTree. He will shoot
your bowls out of the way so fast, so the best thing you can do is shoot his out
of the way as well. I swear if I could, I'd pop this annoying Grarrl. o.-;
Lord Splunch: Lord Splunch is rather difficult compared to everyone else,
but with practice, I'm sure you can beat him. At first he looks like all the
rest, but if you watch his bowls, they actually curve. The gives him an
immediate advantage. Don't fret, you can curve too.
Mr. Rouge: Obviously, by this round, you will already have your avatar if
you used the special code to double your score listed below. But, you still want
to continue on knowing that you might as well get in the high-score tables.
Anyway, this guy is really good. Since the obstacles make it practically
impossible to pass through by going straight, he only uses curves. Mr. Rouge
happens to be very accurate and never misses the jack by much. You'll need to
use curves and angles to beat him.
Obstacles
I hope you didn't think that through the whole game, you were going to have a
nice clean green to roll your bowls on. Because you would be very wrong. There
are a few obstacles that pop up once you pass Round One. Here is a list of them:
(1) The Banana
This slippery little nanner pops up once you reach Round Two. If your bowl hits
it, it will send it flying askew in a random direction, usually straight up or
down. Not to mention at a very fast rate. It looks like this:

Just to tell you, after Round Three, the number of bananas increases every few
levels. So by the end of the last round, there should be at least 3 nanners out
there.
(2) The Mysterious Hole
This little critter-infested hole pops up once you reach Round Three. If your
bowl hits is, it mysteriously disappears. However, it still counts as one ball
used. It looks like this:

Same thing with the holes as the bananas. Every few levels the number of holes
increases. Yikes!
Tricks & Tips
So far, everything looks pretty simple eh? Well, you play them game a few times
and find out...you stink. Oh great. How will you get that avatar now? Don't give
up! You still haven't learned the cool tricks and tips of this game! Here are a
few famous ones:
Shepherd = To double your score at the end of each round, type
'shepherd' at the beginning of the game before you click on anything. Don't even
move the screen before typing it, or it wont work.
superbowl = This allows you to skip levels. However, your score will
stay the same, and you'll miss your chance completely to get the avatar ^^;
Take Aim = Want to know the best length the pull back the red line?
Right between the Cybunny's ears where they go beyond his head. Here is a
picture so you know what I mean:

Depending on the further away the ball is, the more toward the tips of the ears
you pull the red line.
Spin = You'll need to know how to spin by Round Seven, because the
obsticals are so much in the way its practically impossible to go straight
through. To spin, angle your bowl off to one side, press the left or right arrow
key depending if you want to go up or down. Power your spin, and then let go of
the bowl when you think you have it right.
Prizes & Scoring
You beat the game! At least you sent your score, that is. How will you know if
you got a trophy, an avatar? What do they look like anyway? Well:

The neopoints given for this game is 100nps per 100pts scored. So... with a
score of at least 1000 a day, you can make up to 3k a day just playing this
game. All you need is a little time on your hands, and your ready to earn some
decent points!
