Become Rich by Having a Successful Shop

It has been said time and time again that the best way to become a
NeoMillionaire is through restock and then selling at your shop. True! But not
completely. One can only buy a limited quantity of items through restocks. After
your shop is size 30, you probably are having a difficult time with fully
restocking your shop if you put your items on the shelves right after restocks.
So what do I do? I make my shop sell similar items. I prefer selling plushies.
There are many collectors out there and don't really mind buying plushies which
are a little bit overpriced. Just don't overdo it of course.
Now complete the different plushie sets. Buy from the Toy Shop or From the Shop
Wizard, search red, blue, green, or yellow of each plushie type. Better yet,
find a plushie spoiler list like the one found in my guild. Buy at least 1 of
every type.
Keep track of how much you spend on everything. Just take a mental note of it if
you buy then stock after each set.
Put everything into your shop and price them up by around 100 NP higher than the
lowest in the shop wizard. If you find anything extremely low priced, buy it and
then check again.
Now to make people come into your shop and see your goods, you would have to get
to the top of the shop wizard often. For this, keep a few of your items priced 1
NP lower than the lowest in the shop wizard.
From here, all you need to to is to wait. Just remember to check you shop for
the completeness of your sets and try to get them completed ASAP when the
price drops lower than what you have sold it for.
I have had my shop sweeped by Neopians far too many times this way. I usually
carry more than 60 different kinds of plushies and never let that number go down
to 40 unless I am asleep or offline. You shop should be one of the things you
check as often as possible. If you go online every 2 hours just to buy a
scratchcard or spin the wheel of excitement, then do remember to check your shop
as well.
My theory why this method works is that richer plushie collectors and shop
owners with bigger shops prefer to buy their items from the least number of
shops possible to save time and to complete their collection quickly. And few
extra NP for the convenience is not too much for them to pay.
