Neopets in Five Minutes

Need some help all you new to Neopets? Well you have certainly came to the right
place. Let's get down to business. First, we will work on maining your neopoints.
Neopoints
Well, you need to keep a bank account so you can store neopoints. By playing
games you earn neopoints. Start by playing the featured game everyday. Don't
play TOO many games in one day. (It can frustrate you and you WILL have a bad
day.) Try to keep 5,000 neopoints with you at all times and keep the rest in
your bank. If you get some good items like a dubloon or codestone try to sell it
by creating a shop (it cost 150 neopoints) or put it a trade or auction. Try to
avoid buying things over 5,000 neopoints unless you REALLY need it. Well that
pretty much wraps up neopoints. Let's move on to you pet.
Your Neopet
When you customize your neopet, YOU choose his/her name, color (red, blue,
yellow, or green), species, and it's stats and personality. Try to keep it happy
and not "dying of hunger".
When its hunger gets lower than hungry FEED IT! If its mood is miserable or
unhappy let it play with plushies or take it to Roo Island on the merry go round
(50 neopoints). Your pet also has health. When it gets low by battling with it
in the Battledome or a random event, take it to the healing springs in
Faerieland. It's fast and free! You can go there every 30 minutes. If that
doesn't work, buy a healing potion. They are very cheap with most of them are
under 100 neopoints.
You can also customize them, but I will get into that later. That's all for your
neopet. Now we go to your shop.
Your Shop
To create a shop, it costs 150 neopoints. You can choose where it's located
(doesn't matter), its name, greeting, description, and shopkeeper. You can also
expand your shop, but it costs more money every time you expand. USE THIS WISELY
AND DON'T SPEND SO MUCH MONEY!!!! When you go to SHOP FRONT, you can see what
your shop looks like if you where the one visiting. EDIT YOUR SHOP lets you make
any changes to your shop. SHOP STOCK only let's you change your prices on your
items. Your SHOP TILL holds all neopoints that where given to you by a purchased
item (when someone buys an item the neopoints go here). The SALES HISTORY shows
items from your shop over 1000 neopoints that were purchased. The QUICK STOCK
lets you quickly do what you want with your items (stock, safety deposit box,
gallery etc.). The ITEM GALLERY takes you to your gallery (will get more into
that later). Next is the trading post.
Trading Post
This place let's you trade items that you want money for items that you see you
want. This is one of the best places to get neopoints. Browsing the lots means
to look at other trades. If you want, say a Red Uni Plushie, you would type its
name in and ALL the trades for that will appear. Offers you have made show your
current offers on someone's item. It shows what you offered on and what items
you will give. Next is the auction house.
Auctions
Auctioning can be tricky. If you put a 50,000 neopoints item up for 5 neopoints
hoping more people will bid and it will get really high WRONG! One person could
bid 10 neopoints and that was just worth NOTHING! They got a good deal you got a
bad one. Try to keep your auctions at a reasonable price that you would want and
so would the other Neopians. BEWARE: ONCE YOU PUT A ITEM UP YOU CANNOT TAKE IT
DOWN UNTIL THE TIME IS UP AND NO ONE BIDDED OR SOME ONE GOT THE ITEM!!! The
action genie helps you look for items that you want. That's all for auctions now
we go to your gallery.
Gallery
Your gallery hold items you want to display to all of Neopia where no one can
buy them. Customizing your gallery to what you want is your decision. You don't
have to have a theme for your gallery. Like I said, It's your decision.
GALLERIES BY THE WORLD lets you look at other Neopians galleries. Who know.
Maybe they could start you off on an idea for your gallery. That's all for
galleries. Now for the NC Mall and customisation.
Customisation
Customisation lets you dress up your neopet. To buy stuff from the NC Mall you
must have NEOCASH. this can be bought through the internet or Neocash cards
(found at any TARGET STORE). The NC Mall has variety of clothing for your pet to
wear or just accessories.
