Ultimate Bullseye Guide
Written by mastahmacker24

Well, here I am again to present to you guys another FAQ, this time for the game Ultimate Bullseye. This game can be a little bit hard and most of the time it all depends on the angle and power of the shot.

Anyway, before I go on with the games info as well as some tips and tricks, here is the rundown about the game.

Direct Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/bullseye.phtml
NP: 800np per 100 points
Game difficulty: Medium

Synopsis:
Basically, the game consists of a target and a crossbow and the aim of the game is to hit the bullseye (the center of the target, obviously). You are given ten arrows (or shots) to get as much points as possible and hopefully land on the bullseye. And if you DO get a bullseye, you get a cool bonus which you can use!

Controls:
The game's control is fairly easy to learn.
Up and DOWN arrow keys = moves and angles the crossbow
Space bar = Power build up, release to fire
Enter (or left mouse click on the bonus) = confirm/use bonus

Bonus:
Like what I have said before, if you hit the bullseye, you get a cool bonus that you can use! Here is the list of all the possible bonus you might get.

Bonus Symbol and it's Description

F (Fire Ring)
-Creates a fire ring (duh) if you hit any part of the target, you double the points for that shot.

C (Close)
-Makes the next target appear closer so it will be easier for you to aim at it.

B(Bullseye)
-Nope, you don't get a free bullseye he he. This one makes the bullseye for the next shot expand and shrink which, if you use/time you shot correctly might make it a little bit easier to score a bullseye.

P (Punchbag Bob)
-Like the name implies this one will show punchbob bag with an apple in it's head. Hit the apple and you get an automatic 20 points! Use it on the last shot. Extra tip, if you hit punchbag bob's body, you don't get any points!

SCORING:
Note, these points can only be doubled through the F bonus. P bonus is a stand alone one, either you hit the apple or not.

Brown Wood 0pts
Outer Ring 1pt
2nd Ring 2pts
3rd Ring 3pts
4th Ring 5pts
Bullseye 10pts

General tips:
1. Play the game at a higher resolution. You can pick it on a scroll down menu in the game, left side of the game picture. Why? Because it makes it easier for you to see and also makes it easier to aim and adjust your angles and power accordinly with every shot.

2. Use your bonus wisely. F, C, and B bonus can be used right away but I suggest saving the P bonus for last. Not only because it is easier to hit the apple in punchbag bob's than a bullseye, but you get 20 points in the end. Also, if you do hit the apple in the last shot, you get another free shot!

3. If however you didn't get the P bonus, try to get a bullseye nonetheless on the last shot, it will still give you an extra shot if you do make it.

4. Power adjustments tips:

Close to about medium range = less than half of power meter, depending on the angle you are, making adjust accordingly.

Medium to farther range = half or a little bit extra of power meter, again, adjust accordingly depending on angle.

Farthest one = 3/4 of the power meter.

5. DON'T POWER UP TO THE MAX. It will just make your shot go flying by the target without ever hitting it unless you got REALLY lucky.

6. Practice. You don't get good overnight unless you are exceptionally skilled in angling and aiming.

This game is another game to earn easy neopoints if you are a beginner, try to get at least 30 points to get 240 NPs. 240 times 3 tries is 720 NPs and you'll most likely be done one game in under 30 seconds. Not bad at all.

But as you get used to the game, try to get about 50 or more, at this point you will be netting around 440NP per game or more depending how much you exceeded 50 points. So let's do the math again, 440NP x3= 1320 or if you do get 500NP per game, that's 1500NP!! Not bad for a game which will take about 2 minutes at most for all 3 tries.

And there you have it. I hope you guys find this useful, and happy gaming!
