Volcano Run Guide
Written by Taydart

Volcano Run is a very simple game. All you have to do is click the mouse and avoid walls and blocks.

How to play

To play, click the mouse to stay in the same position, hold the mouse to go up and let it go to go down.To stop or slow down press the space bar.

What to Avoid

There's a lot in this game. Like the walls. If you run into a wall you die unless you have a shield, which I'll get to later. Next, theirs a lot of red square blocks. Some move some don't. If you touch this you also end up dying unless you have a shield. If a block is moving one way, go in the opposite direction and you should be able to pass it. Sometimes, blocks pretend to be still but then move when you get close to them. That's the best time to use the space bar. Finally try to avoid the clouds. Unlike the other things I mentioned, this won't kill you. The only thing hat this will do to you is make you turn red and it will slow you down which isn't necessarily a good thing. It increases your chances of dying. But sometimes it is a good thing. Especially when it comes to those block pretending to be still...it slows you down just in time. Avoid this with the shield. Fortunately, the clouds only make you slow from anywhere from 3- 10 seconds. Oh ya, I forgot one more thing. Avoid the shooting fire things. I don't know if the shield will protect you this time but don't try it.

What you want to get

There are a few good things in this game that will help you out you know. First thing, is the crystals. Those are those little tiny blue things that are usually in a horizontal row of three. GET THESE! They help you score out a lot. The only other thing that helps you in this game is the shield. I've talked about it before and now I'll finally explain it to you because your probably dying to know about it. The shield looks like a light blue puddle. DEFINITELY GET THESE IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE! Shields form a bluish clearish kind of circle around you that protects you from just about everything. But these things do eventually disappear. Like if something like a block touches you of you run into a wall. You can get crystals and still have the shield on without the shield disappearing just so you know.

Scoring

The longer you play the higher your score is. The more crystals you get the higher your score is. When your game is over your score is divided by four with a remainder of 1.(I did the math myself.) So basically, if you want neopoints, don't play this game because you need a really high score.
