Introduction
Kass Basher is a highly popular game that can get you a shiny new avatar if you play it right! I will go through multiple techniques and strategies that will help you AT LEAST get the avatar.
The Secret Techniques
Technique 1: Wait for the Wind
The bottom left hand corner of the game window has a stylish little text jumble that tells you the wind speed, direction, and your farthest whack.
The wind speed must be closely monitored so that you can hit it at the highest speed. If you should happen to wait a good ten minutes and the wind speed still is in the negatives, I always find it useful to reset the Kass by letting it drop to the ground.
If your wind speed, by some divine miracle, gets up to the highest, you bring us to our next technique: Whacking the Kass.
Technique 2: Whacking the Kass
There are a few things you should keep in mind when you gleefully go smacking the Darigan pudding right out of that Kass Plushie:
- Always pay attention to the Kass as it falls, especially if you have the perfect wind speed. Nothing is more frustrating than having the perfect speed and missing the Kass entirely.
- There are certain effects based on where the Kass is when you hit it. Let’s pretend your hitting range is in two parts. (Imagine the figure of 8.) If you hit the Kass in the top part of the eight, it will soar through the air and make it look like a bird flying south for the winter. If you hit it on the bottom half, it will slide along the ground like a bird trying to eat a groundhog. (Not the best plan.) Hitting the Kass just below the top of the 8 will send it flying straight foreward, like a semi flying down a highway.
After hitting the Kass we come to our strategy: Flying the Kass.
Strategy: Flying the Kass
This part is extremely complicated and I may not make a lot of sense but if you can manage to keep your grip on reality while I talk about this, you should be fine.
Now let’s pretend your keyboard is the control panel to a big jet. Feels pretty good flying one of those doesn’t it? Anyway there are several controls you can use in the air:
- ↑ The up arrow key will make the Kass soar ever higher (not too much higher), while at the same time, cutting down its distance just a tad. This key is good for the initial take-off of the Kass. When it leaves your batting range, press this key until it reaches its peak. We'll then move on to our second key.
- → The right arrow key will balance the Kass and therefore make it’s descent a little lagged. It is helpful some times, but it is a little win/lose. Sometimes it cuts your distance while other times, it increases it. You just never know.
- ↓ The down arrow key will send the Kass flying straight down (not straight but down) and will make it bounce farther but if you don’t bounce it right, it will just smack it in the dirt.
- ← The left arrow key is similar to the down arrow key except it eases the Kass down rather than abruptly slamming it down.
- The space bar brings us to the end of this guide. It is used when the Kass hits the ground. How it works is, after the Kass falls, you need your finger on the space bar. The millisecond that the Kass hits the ground, you need to press that button. Do this over and over and over again every time the Kass hits the ground. This could (if done properly) make your Kass fly several hundred more feet so this is important for you to keep in mind.
