In Whack-A-Staff-Member, it really makes sense that you are WHACKING STAFF MEMBERS. The key to doing this game is to have good
reflexes and PAY ATTENTION. Throughout the game you can find many staff members that give you various points beginning at three. If you feel like having a list of the points I have one list right below. There is one very rare occasion that you hit this one guy that pops up to show a 13???. Don't think you just hit 13k points. I don't understand why
here's there but hey, you whack him, you get points, who cares? Here is the list.
3,4,6,8,9,11,13???,20, and I think that's pretty much them.
Also, if you are only starting out, you may want to know hitting a neopet causes ten deduction so be careful! Getting the avatar is almost impossible at first thought. After you get the hang of this addicting game though, you can get that avatar with a lucky score. When I got my avatar, I had about 210 at the first level. Unless you can pull off a miracle, that's just about what you need on the first level to get 2250 points. (Avatar Score)
That probably is pretty much it except the cheat a5paragu5. You get a bigger mallet on the FIRST level. I
recommend not using it unless you are just having a little fun. If you do it when you are going for the avatar, your flushing about thirty points down the drain just to type. This games takes a little bit of practice also. Don't think you can just walk right in there and whack them! You have to hit them in the forehead. If you don't hit them in the forehead don't try and them again! Just go to the next one if there is more than one on the screen. I have found it difficult to try and hit them again after a miss.
It kinda scrambles your momentum when you try. Trust me, I was thirty-seven away from getting the high score because I had tried to hit someone after I missed. In the game, you will also find the speed going up a little bit each level. You might not think that this is of no problem. It IS. By level 10-13 I find hitting them really hard. If you get past that point, heck you probly beat my score. Don't forget if you are going for the avatar and you hit the score, stop trying to whack them. If you keep trying, you might hit neopets on total mistake. I hit a neopet and then stopped trying to hit them because I was only three above the amount I needed to win. Using controls is also a very important key to whacking so I'll add this in. Most people click with their left mouse button and not the space bar thinking the space bar will take a longer time to press in and out, but keeping your hand on it to catch faster clicks one behind the other it becomes very useful.
For most beginners I recommend that they take their time and just try aiming the first time they do it. It might come to a shabby seventy-nine or so but it is passing. All you need to do each level is get seventy-five more points and you pass!
My final paragraph is going to deal with spurts. In this game, you might find that after you hit so many people then miss a couple, you will get a cluster of people popping out of the offices. Most of the time, the higher the point hits in the amount you hit before the cluster depends on how many points the whole cluster is worth. Like if you hit a load of sixes, nines, and eights, you might end up with pop tart (20 pts.) and some six pointers. This sometimes is a very important strip of information for all levels of players so try and hit them!
